Me, My Shelf and I

With an almost rabid passion for books, I often find myself dizzy after sessions of furious reading in bookshops in order to support my habit without paying for it (addiction does indeed lead to crime). The library that I mention above is in fact my bookshelf at home, which I stock with the books I occasionally buy. In an interesting case of evolution, due to the fact that my bookshelf only has 2 shelves, it holds a very select collection of my favourite and recommended reading books as any books that are not as valued as the others are removed to make way for other books when it all threatens to overflow. Thus, I present to you my bookshelf as of this moment as a guide to books that I have enjoyed or found to be of sentimental value. Clinking on those linked will (hopefully) lead to a brief synopsis and a reason for its continued 'shelf-life', as it were. (Did I mention that another of Alarra's hobbies was bad puns?)

Of course, this is not the definitive list, as it is constantly evolving and also due to monetary constraints. Maybe later I'll put up my wish list of books to own as well. If you're good.
